OVERVIEW
The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), 9th edition, is based on American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. NRP provides an algorithm-based approach to care and resuscitation of the stressed or sick neonate.
This hospital-based Hi-Fi NRP Course is designed for any advanced provider – nurse, physician, nurse practitioner, respiratory therapist – who wants to renew their NRP certification at an advanced level. The course is meant to challenge expert providers, promote new skills in communication and teamwork, and highlight recent evidence in NICU resuscitation care. The course will be run inside Randall Children’s Hospital in actual hospital environments — resuscitation room, NICU, delivery room — using high-fidelity simulation.
Providers will need to complete NRP Part 1 (online) before attending, and be prepared to apply the NRP algorithm to multiple clinical scenarios during the Hi-Fi course.
